MA'AL HIJRAH 1431

Kepada semua umat Islam, Salam Hijrah diucapkan semoga mendapat rahmat dan kesejahteraan pada tahun baru ini dan juga pada tahun-tahun mendatang. Just a thought...why is it we celebrate our birthday pakai kalendar Masehi (Gregorion) but for Hari Raya, Puasa, Maulud Nabi, Awal Muharram, etc we follow Kalendar Hijrah? Is it bcos if we use Hijrah for our birthday, umur kita akan lebih 'banyak'? hehehe

(update) salam aidiladha - the aftermath

just came back from kampung and had a stomachful aidiladha (tak baik tau melantak, castrol byk hehe). we decided to have a bbq n camping at our kampung's beach (nasiblah siapa yang kampung dia takde beach hehe). preparing the stuff agak meletihkan but after everything went well, hilang rasa penat. as u can see kalau pasal posing maut, semua ni memang terer. after beach soccer, we had bbq and later after midnite we started to outdo each other in 'talentime'. it was fun when most of us terlupa lirik and started humming stupidly. tried some 'cgi' with the campfire. really had fun n rasa malas masa nak kena balik kl. btw we r planning to do some white water rafting pulak slepas ni n dgr kat janda BAIK a good spot for that?? btw sorry gambar tak tersusun....saya budak baru belajar....aaauuwww

to all muslims, i wish a joy and meaningful aidiladha. to those whose cuti dibekukan (kena kerja on thursday, all i can say is....hehehe i shouldn't be saying that. anyway if any of you happens to be in melaka or its vicinity, please drop by pengkalan balak, for 'choke-a-dog' will be served!!! salam to all

7nov2009 - beyond borders awards 2009

was invited by a dear friend recently to be one of the judges for malaysia airports' school drama competition for primary schools. d fren (rika) is the one next to mr. potato. fun to watch the kids performing and it was quite hard to give marks to subjective stuffs (it's not like giving marks to nadia comaneci). btw had not been updating lately for my dedicated still camera dah meragam (all shots over-exposed, auto payah nak adjust) and TQ so much to rika since i 'curi' these pics from her hehehe n i didnt know that i'm lefthanded...

the pecking order: the whole bunch...the cucus (team C)...mama's group...mangga group...tano"s...bachelor boys...dak one's....uncle bapak's....sulung's....adam (the new kid on the go-block)...ketupat....pak busu...ketupat...iman n pak busu (belakang capik)....mama, mira, schol (2X)...baka of the wali (4X)....the cars...dodolism (4X)...empat penjuru...ketupat (2X)...nasa (2X)...semua buat2 buzy...

this raya, we got some ups n downs...the last time we all buat dodol was like almost 30 years ago...to the cousins yang tak sempat jumpa, kita 'jam' next raya lah hehe. the young ones had fun especially with the 'merdeka...tun' type of fireworks and the cool breeze throughout (hujan lebat almost every nite...) bakawali also were blooming throughout the nites....seram jugak bila dia mengambang coz the first time it bloomed n i took some pics and the next day i kena denggi so hehehehe (dah merepek lah ni...)
